In 1997 I had a dream, and then it came true.
The first issue! We screenprinted the 300 covers by hand at Red Planet screenprinting, and the innards were printed at Arena Printing, in those days located in Argyle Street (these days in Kerr) - a real North Fitzroy production! We held the launch upstairs at Arena, too: a great night. I remember smoking a cigar.
